Hello friends of Culture Bridal Couture,

After 10 years in the business of creating unique one-off couture wedding gowns, I have now closed my Culture Bridal Couture studio doors to take some much-needed "time out!" I'll be spending the next 12 months finishing off some projects, studying and travelling overseas.

However, I do still have some beautiful hand-crafted silk wedding gown samples (mostly in size 10) available for sale, as per the pictures in this posting, at greatly reduced prices. I am happy to provide further details on these gowns, if you'd like more info... just email me! These remaining Sample Sale gowns are now available for purchase from "Sherry Bridal Couture" in Rozelle, by appointment only. Sherry's details are below, or you can also email me directly with any queries.

Sample Sale viewings are available strictly "by appointment only" from Sherry Bridal Couture in Rozelle, with advance notice necessary to secure a private appointment. Alterations are also available from Sherry Bridal Couture to my Sale gowns (at extra cost).

Please note all Sample Sale gowns are sold in their "as is" condition, and there are no refunds, returns or credits. All sales are final.

Hello and welcome to my SALE BLOG!

Thanks to all the brides who came in for our Culture Bridal Couture Sample Sale last Saturday, it was a fun day, and went so quickly. It was great to meet so many new people, and to hear about so many different wedding plans and ideas. A special thanks to my lovely team- Joan, Sherry, Ryan and my lovely Mum Pam, who all helped to make the day go smoothly... your assistance is always much appreciated!

To those who didn't get a chance to pop in last Saturday, I am EXTENDING my FINAL SAMPLE SALE until next Friday 7th October, 2011. It is now strictly "by appointment only", so please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email, to arrange a suitable time to visit me here in our Rozelle studio. I still have a few appointments left for this coming Saturday 1st October (at this stage)... but my diary is filling fast! Today I am announcing my BIG NEWS... Culture Bridal Couture is taking a break! After 10 years in business, I have decided to take a year off to study, travel overseas, and spend time with my family. Sample Sale continues in our NEW STUDIO!

Hello and welcome to my 'Sample Sale' blog,

We have now moved into our brand new premises in Rozelle, and after a few weeks of unpacking and settling in, we are finally feeling "at home". For the first time in 10 years of my wedding gown business, Culture Bridal Couture now has a shop window, so we can display our Couture gowns to the world as it passes by - it's very exciting, and I'm having lots of fun dressing the windows each week!

Our new studio is over 2 levels, the ground floor being our Couture Showroom and fitting area, with our shop window facing Victoria Rd, and the upstairs level being our fully functional workroom and office. So as always, all our designs are fully custom-made on the premises, by my expert team - 100% Australian Made.

To make room in our Showroom for upcoming new designs, we are continuing our 'Sample Sale' here in the new studio, with fabulous discounted prices and further price reductions on offer. So if you'd like to view, try on or purchase a showroom sample wedding gown (at a bargain price) just contact me to arrange a suitable time. We are ON THE MOVE!!!

Hello and a very BIG thank you to all those who visited me at my big Culture Bridal Couture MOVING SALE last Saturday! It was so much fun meeting everyone, and I really enjoyed seeing so many new faces trying on my bridal designs and looking amazing in them! A special thanks to my wonderful team who helped me on the day - you were all fabulous (and I couldn't have done it without you)!

We are now busy sorting out our stock, rolling up our fabrics, packing boxes, and preparing for our big move next week, so my Leichhardt studio is now CLOSED... however I look forward to welcoming everyone to my NEW STUDIO in Rozelle from the 7th JULY onwards. Once i settle in and decorate the new abode, I'll post some photos so you can check out our new space!

Hello again and welcome to my Culture Bridal Couture sample sale blog!

We're now counting down the days until our huge MOVING SALE on this coming Saturday 18th June.

MOVING SALE - Beautiful Lace Sample Gowns

Our big MOVING SALE on Saturday 18th June is just around the corner, and this week I am busy sorting through my vast collection of bridal samples, deciding what to sell and what to move into my new studio. It's amazing how many beautiful Culture Bridal Couture sample gowns, fabrics and gorgeous one-off pieces I have accumulated in the past 10 years of business... My lovely new studio in Rozelle is alot smaller than here - so I really do need to make some space!

Today's SALE gowns are from our vintage-inspired Lace collection, and these unique sample designs have been exquisitely hand-crafted from exclusive, imported European laces, with pure silk underneath.

The "Filigree French Lace" sample is a small size 8-10, and suits a bride with a slim figure, not too curvey. It has a boned inner corset bodice, and a slim A-Line skirt with a delicate train at the back. The detachable belt is priced separately, and we can offer different sash or ribbon belts in other colours, such as ivory or pale latte. The beautiful black Grosgrain ribbon belt (shown in the photos) is from Stephanie Browne, and features gorgeous silver metal embellishments.

The "Silver French Metallic Lace" gowns are absolutely stunning, and suit brides with a vintage theme, who want something elegant yet different (not white!). I have 2 samples to sell in this style, a smaller size 8, and also a larger size 12-14. For both these gowns, the bride must wear a bra underneath, and Shapewear (stretchy firming pants) can also be handy, to give a smooth line. Both these sample gowns feature silver brooches and hand-beaded Swarovski crystals along the Empire Line.

The lovely 2-piece "Lace Halter and Silk/ Tulle Skirt" in ivory is a fabulous look - both pieces are adjustable, so they can fit a size 10 or 12 easily, and possibly even a size 14 (on the bottom). The Lace on the corset is an Italian corded lace, and could also be hand-beaded if desired, for extra sparkle. The soft, flowy skirt can be worn with or without a petticoat underneath, depending on the look and fullness you want.

Grecian Goddess Sample Gowns ON SALE!

Welcome back to my Culture Bridal Couture SALE BLOG!

We're holding a huge MOVING SALE on Saturday 18th June and are offering stunning Couture sample wedding gowns at fabulous prices! Today's gowns are from our Grecian collection, made from layers of pure silk georgette, nice and floaty and PERFECT for breezy and relaxed outdoor Spring/ Summer weddings. Both these styles feature silver metallic embellishments and Swarovski crystals, and look beautiful when accessorised with strappy silver heels and gorgeous silver earrings - no necklace needed.

The "Grecian Goddess" sample is the very first Couture sample of this style we ever made - so it's been used in photo shoots, displays and on the runway several times. Due to that fact, the price has been heavily reduced to clear!

The "Grecian Beaded Halter Gown" sample, on the other hand, is a NEW & IMPROVED version of this popular Couture style, a brand new sample fresh off the sewing machines, and is in an immaculate "as new" condition. It features a low, open back, and an adjustable waistband which means it can fit a size 8 or size 10 - sometimes even a size 12 (if you have a narrow waist).

News of our huge MOVING SALE is spreading fast, with lots of enquiries coming through from excited brides-to-be, as well as fashion students, textile lovers and those handy home sewing types, interested in our rare vintage Japanese fabrics. I've busy sorting through my fabric stocks to see what I want to keep, and what I want to sell... such a hard decision! It's amazing how many fabrics I have managed to collect in the 5 years I've been here in this studio...

So, here is just a taste of what will be on offer on SATURDAY 18th JUNE at our Moving Sale. There are plenty more vintage silk Kimono's and Obi's which will be available on the day, so if you like decorating your home or office with stunning and original pieces, then definitely come over and take a look. I just adore vintage Japanese fabrics - the symbols and history, the unexpected colours and contrasts, the bold patterns, the beautiful prints and the exquisite touches of embroidery and tiny details - each piece is a work of art!

Culture Bridal Couture will be moving premises at the end of June - so it's a perfect opportunity to sort through our much-loved couture wedding dress sample gowns and minimise our fabric stocks, and offer a selection of stunning one-off styles to fashionista's who love couture!

We have a gorgeous collection of wedding gown samples, stunning evening wear pieces, bridal accessories such as veils, headpieces and costume jewellery, cocktail dresses and a few bridesmaids dress samples, too. There will also be vintage Japanese kimono and silk obi fabrics, some of which are very rare, and a range of absolutely breath-taking silk Indian sari's in a riot of colour and pattern. So many treasures, all of which will be at AMAZING PRICES!

We are holding our MOVING SALE on Saturday 18th June, 2011 at our current studio here in Leichhardt, AND we are also offering SALE PREVIEWS for GOWNS ONLY - by appointment, in the 2 weeks leading up to the Sale. Hello and welcome to my SAMPLE SALE blog! In this update, I'm including our one-off Oriental-inspired sample wedding gowns, perfect for brides who want something totally unique, with a splash of colour (and at a GREAT price, too!)

My permanent Sample Sale collection includes original one-off sample Couture wedding gowns, selected full-length Couture evening wear pieces, and assorted cocktail & shorter dresses, suitable for bridesmaids and very special occasions. Everyone loves a bargain - and brides can, too! These beautiful one-off Culture Bridal Couture samples have been heavily reduced in price, and are available "on sale" now, until cleared. We're making room for our latest new designs, and although it is sad to say "goodbye" to our much-loved original samples, we know they will find good homes!

Every unique sample gown we create is handcrafted and custom-made right here in our Leichhardt studio, using the best quality silks, laces, embellishments and Couture techniques. All our gowns are fully lined and our in-house Alterations Service is available to adjust and tailor the gowns, to fit you exactly (extra charges apply for alterations).

Hello and welcome to my BRAND NEW blog, dedicated to featuring my "Sample Sale" gowns, available ONLY from my Sydney studio at fabulous clearance prices!

After 9 years in the Couture bridal business, I have accumulated so many gorgeous samples, and I now need to clear them and make space for my NEW sample designs. So after the success of my recent Sample Sale, I've decided to have a permanent "Sample Sale" rack, and brides are now welcome to make an appointment to come to visit my studio & browse the Sale range at a convenient time.

My permanent Sample Sale collection now includes sample Couture wedding gowns, selected evening wear pieces, and assorted dresses suitable for bridesmaids and formal occasions. Please note that MOST of my sample dresses are size 8 - 10, with just a few size 12's and 14's. My samples are kept in very good condition, and we have an alterations service available if required (alteration charges apply).

As well as our original hand-crafted bridal gowns and evening dresses, I am also offering unique fabrics sourced from around the world, stunning silk wraps, vintage kimonos and obis, lovely Indian saris and sari accessories too - so as well as actual dresses, there are lots of beautiful things for those who love textiles, Couture fashion and sewing, too.
